What do these ratings mean?

Picked this one up for 5 Euros in the budget corner (PC version btw).
Here are my remarks:
This is probably the only FPS, giving that much variation in each mission: you break out from a prison transport, some wild ass shooting from the back of a truck, doing a bank heist, breaking INTO a prison,... the game has it all, and kept me playing the whole thing in one rush!
The characters are intriguing, with a nut job (Lynch) and a Soldier of Fortune (Kane). Especially Lynch leads to a lot of unexpected stuff.
You'll really love this, game, and I simply recommend everyone to try it out.
So why do I give the game an 8.9, and no 10 or so?
That's because of some bugs I've encountered: clipping problems, a complete voice file that was corrupt and some minor glitches I've encountered... I also noticed the game kept asking me whether I wanted to install the game, when I've inserted the disc... Years after it's release, and there is no patch available.
Also, the game doesn't look bad for it's time, but textures look a little bit blurry...
But one of the major downsides is that you need to have a games for windows live account, in order to save your progress...
I also hated the fact that you couldn't chose which shoulder you peek over (I wanted the other side :p ).
I also didn’t had the chance to try out the multiplayer, since no one was playing it…
But overall, this is one kickass game!!!
