What do these ratings mean?

SO, here we are finnaly. PS3 has at last came out. Risistance is basically the only game for PS3 worth a damn. So if you own the PS3 you already own the game. I currently own 360, ps3 and I do have to say if your going to buy this game do not under any circumstances buy or play Gears of War. The graphics on GOW outdo this game in so many ways its rediculous. I for one expected way more from a $600 PS3. Resistance, is a good online game for sure. Has a lil more options and different gameplay from GOW. But you can definitly tell, there is a lil copieing going on from one of the ends. The story is very similar just from a different era. So, the story isnt no better or worse than GOW. Both are told about the same way, lil is known till the end.

On to the weapons, the weapons remind me of Call of Duty on the Human end. The ones for the aliens remind me of Quake or Unreal Tournament. There basically not "unique" takes bunch of shots to kill people. Same as GOW. So there isnt a huge difference even when it comes to those.

Now for the graphics. Graphics are .....less than dissapointing. I'm expecting a whole lot from a PS3 and I do not think that that is much to ask. This system has not earned its worth at all. My computer can run twice what this system has to offer so far. Risistance doesnt do anything new. AT all. The lighting effects are done nicely and so are explosions, but i like detailed realistic creatures and people and this game does not diliver on that part.

On to online play, actually online play is pretty fun, aliens can go berserker on the humans, and alot of people are always on. Easy to log in and start, but thereisnt any reall acheivments when you win or lose. So it plays out like all the old shooters do. No reall new modes eather. With talk of all the fancy new storage and space on the PS3 hardrive you would think they would invent a new mode here and there or make the single play last days upon days.

So my finale input is that this game is a let down just like its system. I expect way more than this from the ps3. Or a price drop.
