What do these ratings mean?

I don't understand some of the heat most PS3 games have been getting. I own both a 360 and a PS3 and i think that this game is really comparable to Gears of war. I know that its kind of my opinion, but most people forget the true motive of video games which is a soild story, gameplay, and graphics that make it fun! I have played this game and i bought the game becuase its "fun." Some gamers lose this idea and i think you should all try too have this so called "fun" and play the game with friends or go out and play with people online. Kick back and relize that this is a "fun" game

See how many people you can not only play (40 person online player!!) with and make clans with, but kick it around talk online chat and add friends to your PS3 buddy list. I hope every uptight gamer should try this "fun" or maybe I'm to laid back for them because I don't hate a game for everything it doesn't have but love it for what it does.

    Man, in all honesty. You have a 360. That means you have had to play GOW. Sure the multiplayer is limited on GOW. But the stories are VERY similar and the gameplay on GOW is way funner. More realistic and GOW looks like reall life. THis game does not have the effects at all copared to GOW. I wish it did though. I have both systems myself and i expect alot more from a $600 system.

    Hey let's be fair okay i think we all can admit that GOW does have better graphics and more awards than Resistance but hey xBox didn't have awsome games when it launched. All of it's games sucked! I think that for a brand new systems where designers are testing the limits of PS3 for a launch game to be even compared to a game that has had a long time to work on graphics is a great honor. You have to admit that for a brand new game on a platform only a choosen few have designed for already, Resistance is a damn good game.
