What do these ratings mean?

So you're sat in your bedroom with your PSP buddy, and on the TV you see an advertisement for non other then a first person shooter. Naturally you are compelled to buy the game. So what do you do? You head on to game-revolution.com to see if anyone knows any more information about it. You sneakily find a review about the game Coded Arms, which looks awesome on tv, that tells you it is a peice of ****.

This isn't so, ignore!

Many people have complained that there is no "shop" facility etc, tell me what good first person shooter ever had a shop.......exactly.

The game has good strong graphics, making good use of the visual environments you have been given with the PSP. The graphics used are also very good related to the game story. The game is fast actioned with a large selection of weapons.

Basically there is some sort of program which has gone haywire, and abandoned. Hackers, like yourself, are very interested on the information that is located here. Obviously the game has a story strongly relating to The Matrix, but this doesn't make the game any worse. You simply "jack in" to the game and you're there.

The aim is the get to the end of the levels, decoding information along the way. You will be tested against a range of different enemies, getting stronger the further you get - but you should retrieve weapons that will keep you alive.

A nice touch to the game is that you can select which weapons you take with you, after retriving them ofcourse. Kind of by unloading the weapon out of the program, and loading the weapon in.

Basically, if you have ever liked first person shooters you will more then likely like this game.

One draw back is that it can become slightly repetitive as a lot of the enemies on each level are the same or very similiar.

However, if you get bored you can always grab a friend who has the game and get a bit of player vs player on the go, the more friends the better.

If future first person shoot em up games are going to be advancements on this game, there will be a lot of fun to come.

Unfortunatly, like many other games, this game LACKS INTERNET PLAY

You say it dude. These guys are a bunch of twots. A first person shooter doesn't need a good story. Look at how good Halo did, mind you it's got a plot but in all technicallity, so does Coded Arms. These people need to get over themselves and realize that a game doesn't need a good story if it's fun to play.

Could it possibly be that people don't like it because it doesn't play very well? Or maybe they actually, you know, LIKE a story to help drive the experience.
