The Good: Charming graphics, addictive puzzle design, 80 levels keeps you busy

The Bad: Physics are off, gets too hard too quick

When you first boot up Downstream Panic! you'll get the feeling of Lemmings, LocoRoco, and Worms all in one breath. You have to help the fish make it back to the ocean safely by using various tools throughout the game. Each level starts off with a big bubble of water that pours out one hundred fish and you can use bombs to blow up paths, fans to turns wheels to unblock paths, harpoons to kill enemies that will eat your fish, and even flowers you can grow to block paths so the water pouring down doesn't take the fish the wrong way. The graphics are very bright, colorful, and charming and are good enough for the type of game that it is. The physics are a bit off and can make things a bit complicated when you have to be precise and spot on. Some of the later levels get so big and complicated that it requires lots of trial and error to get the level completed. Once you finish the level though you can go back in free mode and buy more tools to get a better score and collect more coins. Overall. DSP is a great puzzle game to kill time but may get too hard too fast for most.
