The Good: Good graphics and music, interesting beam of light concept
The Bad: Physics are off, gets too difficult too fast
Fading Shadows actually does something new to ball and physics games. Instead of controlling a ball you control...a beam of light. The balls stick to that light and you use it too solve puzzles. For example, the narrower you have the light the closer the ball follows but if your ball is wood you'll burn it up, and if it's glass you'll shatter it. You can make the ball jump slightly to go up stairs and you can use the beam of light too solve the puzzles as well. It's really neat how this concept is played out but it wasn't done completely right. The game has a really slow pace and the difficulty ramps up too quickly. The physics are also a bit floaty and this can make solving puzzles frustrating. No matter though the game is good enough too pass time and it even has relaxing music, a good art style, and great graphics too boot.
