Peace in the Era of Call of Duty

In a world dominated by violent media, Americans are no more eager to go to war than they were in the 1980s or the 1960s or the 1940s. Hasn't it always been someone else's problem? The overwhelming majority would rather go on thinking it had nothing to do with them and there...

What do these ratings mean?

EA paid their way out of having to worry about competition.
Well it is starting to show in their games. This Game is no exception to the Trend. All Madden Scores have been around 1 Point Lower than 2005 scores.
You don't have a choice of whose NFL game your gonna play.

Well it's not all good. There is No Replays or Highlights, some may say this is probably a PSP Limitation because the data would have to store on the memory stick which would waste battery, I play an game at a time (1 hour) so make it an option.

Sometimes you will be approaching the Opponents Goaline and the After the Play shots will show your team on the opposite side of the Field (Your 20 instead of Their 20). You don't Need a Quality department there at EA anymore Huh.

Sometimes you'll be receiving a punt, you back off because you don't want to risk the fumble and the coverage is closing in, so you let the other team down the ball. Now you get to enjoy the show, look at the AI Character who can't seem to touch the ball... It's right in front of you!!... He bends over again... He still can't grab it. My God... It is an average of 2 to 3 times before the character can figure out how to down the ball.

This One is the BEST bug in the game... You start a Franchise Season. You play a game in your season which takes about an hour. You check your stats and select End game... AND THAT IS WHAT YOU GET... END GAME. Yep, you just rebooted your PSP without saving your game. You have got to be kidding me.
Luckily there is a way around this, and that is to select Team schedule instead of Weekly Schedule, but I thought these games were suppossed to go through a testing cycle.

The Commentary is both Good and Bad. Play a season, If you break a record, say scoring 8 touchdowns through the air, you'll get a comment when you tie and beat the record. So say you've set the Record at 12 touchdowns. Next game in your season you hit 8 touchdowns and you'll get the same comments. But I shouldn't Tie the Record until I hit 12 touchdowns.
Okay you've scored 21 touchdowns now you're up 167 to 0 (Yep that's 20 of 21 for 2 Point Conversions), Now it is 4th Quarter and there is 1 minute left and Madden Starts to comment how the other team needs to do this or that if they hope to get back in the game. I don't think they are gonna get back in...
Beyond these Problems the Commentary is pretty good. Thank god that there is Madden and Michaels doing the Commentary and not the Cheesy Local Radio announcers that EA Used on Madden for the 360.

Other than that, the game Looks great on the PSP and it Plays Well. However the Load Times are Painful.
I finally have a Football game on a handheld that I'll actually play. Too bad it is from EA the Monopoly company.

Now Here is my Favorite Part...
Now that you have no alternative NFL Foot ball choice on the market. EA has gone and taken away the Free Online Play (Spelled Monopoly). Sure you can have ESPN Sponsor you but this means your e-mail and who knows what else information is getting shared (Enjoy that Spam).

Despite it all, I am a sucker for a Football game so I play this one alot. But if 2K Sports was Allowed to make a NFL Game I would be Playing That.

Dear National Football League,
Please do not take away the consumers choice.
