What do you mean, I went in the wrong direction?

Well, once again I thought MoH could satisfy me.  Yep, long ago it used to please all my urges, any time of the day and all day long.  Dispite previous messes and break ups, I have given it one more shot.

Hmm?  What's this?  A medal of honor game, for the PSP?  My lucky day!  Or so I thought.  First look at the game, you will notice the continued use of live footage in the intro.  The menu screen is similar to that of European Assault, except this one is toned down, and more symplistic.  But, hey.  Let's start the first mission, shall we?

Well, I spent the first few minutes just staring at the allies who seemed to do nothing but get in the way.  They would randomly run away and stay there, and then some 5 minutes later come running back.  I also noticed that they would frequently throw grenades when no enemies were around, usually killing thmeselves and most of the team mates.  The game won't really tell you what your mission is, or how you got there.  It's all just... Your there, kill anything that moves, and find a way out.

The gameplay is pretty boring.  Run around, and shoot at enemies who either never notice you, or have already started shooting at you before you entered the room.  The aiming just annoys me.  The zoom in is worseless and in the end, just worse than normal.  The variety of guns in the story mode is small.  A starting gun, which is either a Thompson or a M1 Grand.  A gun, which you can't switch, and some grenades that seem irrelavant since your comrades do such a bang up job blowing themselves up.

Graphics aren't top notch, and the terrains or boring.  Repetitive and boring.  Repetitive and boring.  Repetitive and boring.  Sorry, im dozing off.  Your allies will yell the same lines over and over, only to tell you somone is shooting at you, while your facing the enemy in the face, trying to hit him.  Other times, your allies won't say a word and just fire out into the distance.  For all you know, they were shooting at Hitler and you didn't know it.

Multiplayer, ah yes.  The pride and glory of games.  32 players per game, allies versus the axis.  Game modes like capture the flag, free for all, and some others that are basically the same game.  The chances of you getting more than 5 kills is about as likely as you winning the GR monthly game box prize, or getting your email to actually be used in the Strong Bad emails.  Everyone uses snipers or bazookas.  This really takes away from the games feel of fighting like a soldier.

Don't get me wrong, the game isn't horrible.  It's just that theres a lot of flaws, that just shows that some games are a lot better.  And by 'some' I mean, 'most', and by 'a lot', I really mean 'buy this game only for the MoH franchise'.

+ FPS?  On the PSP?  NO WAY!
+ Medal of honor
+ controls are easy to learn
- but are also over complicated for simple actions
- AI sucks
- Enemys suck
- Lack of level design
- Eww, graphics!
- Lack of weapon diversity
+ Multiplayer!
- Which also sucks
