What do these ratings mean?

What could possibly go wrong?

Once again, Gabe Logan is out fighting another terrorist group with a story line that can be hard to follow.  But hey, when you have to first names, who cares.  You play as Gabe Logan.  A super agent of the IPCA who is over-equipped for any mission.  Let's take a gander, shall we?

First, let's talk about the graphics.  Outstanding.  The first mission you will play will immedietly tell you this game is gonna be good.  The amount of detail in the minor things catches your attention.  Hell, if it weren't for the fact that I had enemies to shoot, I might never finish the missions.  The character designs are great, aside from the fact that facial expressions aren't seen.  Ever.  But since Gabe is always angry, I guess it's ok.  The outfits are pretty well designed without over doing them.  This game will be pleasing to your eyes, as they have calming colors without making them boring.  The voice quality is excellent too, and you will see that, when your sneeking on enemies and listening to them talk about sports, drinking, or not wanting to be there at all.

The missions difficulty range from easy to hard.  Now, just because your playing easy doesn't mean you will get through the game easily.  Certain missions will have you clawing your head just because of one part of it.  For example, one mission had me for hours because it was over done with laser mines.  So blowing up was standard.  But every mission has some way of overcoming that obstacle.  Sometimes its a certain weapon, other times it's one of 3 goggles.  EDSU for seing electrical devices, IR for seeing in those dark places, and of course Heat Seeking to see those pesky enemy's who like to hide.  You also have a flashlight, but with IR you dont really need em.

The weapons are all fairly accurate to what they are based on.  AK's are AK-ish, pistols are pistol-ish, and a bazooka still explodes when it fires.  But the fact that every weapon has a different sound, and different qualities makes this game better than the others.  The sound of an AK-47 and the sound of a Chinese type 54 (the 54 being the chinese version of the 47) sound different, and act slightly different.  They both look almost identical except for minor details.  This gives the game a feel that its being accurate to the dot.

The story line is a bit odd.  In fact, without a story line, it would only make a few missions odd.  The basic summary is that an evil dude has this weapon named Dark Mirror.  Now, you don't get told EXACTLY what it is, but the name sounds kinda cool so its most likely dangerous.  You fight bosses, who are usually somehow enhanced.  Either a new armor, weapon, or a good hiding spot that is hard to shoot at.  Good luck fighting the last boss, i'll tell you that much.

After you beat a level, you can replay it with the weapons you want to play with.  There are also badges to do, like going through the mission without dying, or all head shots, or using sniper darts as kills, or stealth kills, and even knife kills.  This will be hard, but beating these will unlock more weapons.

Multiplayer really shines.  A max of 8 people in several maps and a selection of mission types.  Teams have different outfits and weapons to choose from.  Rank up by kills, and gain badges to unlock special weapons by killing people in specific ways.  You will probably spend a majority of your time online, once you get to know the game.  Be warned though, leveling can be tedious.  Get a cell, and hope they can help you.  You will find people who will leave at the very beginning of a game, or game hosts who willl make the teams very unfair so that they win.

So....
+ graphics
+ sounds
+ weapons!!
+/- Story?
+Multiplayer!
- Which has mean people
+ Replay value
+ Gabe Logan is a bad ass
