What do these ratings mean?

The Good: An amazing graphical achievement, lots of new content keep SF fresh, great story, good voice acting, infrastructure is fun

The Bad:...but it's cut in half, too similar to Dark Mirror. WAY too short, not much in difficulty

I'm a HUGE Syphon Filter fan and have been since the first game. Logan's Shadow is the best one to date and is not one bit disappointing. Gabe again finds himself in trouble and double crossed when he finds out Lian might be a double agent. While a pencil neck named Robert Cordell sends him on a mission without telling him anything but to retrieve cargo called hold five. While he searches he comes across an old nemesis named Ghassan al Bitar. Bitar wants to rule the world and Gabe won't let it happen. While you play through the game more of Gabe's mysterious past is unraveled. The graphics in the game are amazing. It's one of the first games to use the full 333 MHz clock speed and the game can achieve more graphically this way. The voice acting is top notch and so are all the production values. There are a ton of things added here. First off is the underwater combat and exploring, context sensitive events, grappling, blind firing, a new grenade toss system, just to name some. Logan's Shadow delivers all the way on new content. The story is A LOT better than Dark Mirror and it really sucks you in. While the controls are also redefined as well the new content controls very nicely. While there isn't as much unlockables as Dark Mirror they are still there. The only thing that's not AS good is the multiplayer is cut in half. Now it's only 8 players instead of 16 due to the graphics increase. The only thing I found disappointing was that the game is so short you can beat it in about 8 hours and the game overall is too similar to Dark Mirror. Think of it like how SF2 was too SF. Despite this LS is an amazing game and I hope Sony makes a third game for the PSP.
