What do these ratings mean?

This game is fun, simple, and pretty. I never had the chance to play the original for the ps1 but I didnt miss the chance a second time when it was released for the psp. And boy was I glad I didnt. I baught the game the day it came out and still havnt beatin it. Its very fluid and doesnt glitch much at all. The graphics are old but stylish for the psp. The magic attacks look awesome when there casted and the charator designs are classic. It doesnt have the random battles like FF series does which to me thats the way I like it. I never was much for taking to steps and something attacks me.

You are able to customize your weapons, although its not to intristing to do. The weapons vary very little. The spells you can learn if you find them scattered in the dungeons or by defeating certain enemys. Its fun and adictive. The only lag the game has in it is sometimes when you run through a interior or town itll lag  up some but unless your really looking you wont notice it. THe load times are not bad. About like a normal ps1 title was. The new cutscenes are awesome. Done in true anime classic ps1 style.  Youll spend hours just leveling up your charactors. And serprisingly i was able to really feel a clossness to my group as I went along I hated to send them to the next stage.

As you play the game there is a huge war going on between heaven and hell and its your job to collect the souls of humans who have recently passed. Then train and level up your troops and adjust certain traits from humor, to cuteness, hell you name it you can effect it in some way. Then once the charactor is leveled up enough you send them to heavens kingdome to fight for good. After spending so much time leveling certain charactors youll feel a sadness when you send them on and there gone. Its cool to see a game do that. The story is intristingly told as you progress through the game.

Simply put, if you like RPG's at all and have a PSP you gotta buy this its worth the money its worth the time you spend playing it. Allthough the only NEGATIVE is the fast the game is longer than your psp's battery life. Youll be charging the psp alot with this game.
