Parasite Eve 2 Member Review for the PS

 For its time Parasite Eve 2 was a good cutting edge game, and still good to this day I say.  Eventhough the backgrounds consist of dark painted backdrops, the CG characters and NMC's (Neo-Mitochondrion Creatures) don't look half bad.  The story dosen't make alot of sence, nore does the half the things they say.  Even though it's 3 years after Parasite Eve 1 it seems like its a Whole new story, with a whole new plot that noone even understands. (well at least not me.)

  In this game its mostley going around killing everything on the map, and I sugest killing everything before moving on in the story line. This is also a game where the "SavePhone" is your good friend "SAVE ALOT!", whenever you pass a Save point "Save".  Cause its "GAME OVER" and alot of running around after that.  Note this is not a game for a person who dosen't have alot of time to sit and play. It's at least a week and a half of play, thats not  hard core playing.

Now myself likeing the first game and still playing it offten.  The battle system is Vary diffrent its even more of a Real time.  This time no HUGE invetory you have to equipt weapons and health to your armor, and only use that in battle. Once you get a hang of the battle window it gets easyer and allmost second nature, to lock-onto Unseen targets with the bad camra angles. All in all its a good Looking game with a bad story plot and sub par battle system. I grade this game a B.

Side Note: THIS BUGS ME MOST; I don't know if its just me or if everyone has this problem, but its hard to make Aaya move around most of all during battle I keep running into walls. (or running head on into attacks.)    -cry-TT_TT-cry- I DIE ALOT.
