Zombies are in front of you, you have ran out of ammo with your berretta, you pull out your knife, then one comes up behind you and you're dead. That is basically the experience Resident Evil gives you. This game there isn't any health bar at the bottom of your screen just in your menu, it tells you what your condition is. This game has some of the best graphics ever seen on the PSX, the gameplay was very different, never before had you taken the place of a real human and not some cyborg going to wipe out all the zombies, this game has puzzle that will sometimes make you cry because you have to run across the mansion just to get the other part. Zombies are not in large packs they tend to be in every room unless you killed them already. This game has allot of OMG type of moments. Like if you play as Jill you nearly get squashed into a "Jill Sandwich" and with Chris you battle this huge snake! That my friend is scary. The story (with both people) are great, the plot actually makes sense and this game has allot of replay value, because you can play the game with the other person and different things will happen. Resident Evil is a classic and every one who is at least 13 and up should have this game in their PSX collection.
