After all these years, and growing up with Windows 3.1, I have seen an entire evolution of computers and software. Touch screens and large resolutions were a pipe dream just 15 years ago. Now it's the norm. Going from a Packard Bell (yes, before HP) that couldn't run 3D Ultra Mini...

What do these ratings mean?

What a game!! What a goal!! Nintendo really have done a blinder here with Mario Strikers Charged! The game looks great, rich colours and a great style really do add to the game's feel. Mario Strikers has an awesome music score, with each character having his own tune, you'll be powerless to stop yourself drumming away to these tasty beats. As for gameplay, its easy to pick up but difficult to master! it certainly no more difficult that any Pro Evo or EA football game, so anyone complaining at its difficulty cleary hasn't ever moved up from the "Easy" setting before. Megastrikes bring a new element into the game, a chance for the tables to turn at any time! Saving megstrikes works really well and you'll be hard pushed not to have your heart in your thoughtout! Wii gestures are minimal but just right for the game, its football, why would you use your hands????? Yes it is football, but this game is so much fun you don't need any intrest in the sport of kings to have a great match! 4 player madness is a must and you'll be surprised at how quickly you improve your skills! As far as online is concerned, there is a slight drop in speed (expected) but megastrike saves and still perfect and even agaisnt a team of 4, there is very little lag! make sure you pick someone with a good connection before you play em!. With special items and unlockable cheats, you are gareenteed a blast! This is not ment to be a serious footballer, this is mario and friends kicking about in the park, jumpers for goal posts, rough tackles and high scores! Get in!! GOOOOOOAL!! A+
