Marvel: Ultimate Alliance combines everything we love into one game. Fighting, super powers, and spandex. Although the Wii was inferior to its Xbox360 and PS3 counterparts it was still a good game. The storyline suffered much, however, with all the different characters and villians it was hard to make a good storyline fit. The plot is actually very very acurate to the comics. For example each super hero has its own simulator disc where you can play part of their history. This game is best played multiplayer cooperative with an exellent team you are trying to level up. Imagine it as a sequel to X-Men Legends but ten times better with new options and better combos. The Wii remote moves suffer a little from the tranfer from a button masher to the Wii however they are good enough. The only thing that gets really annoying is that if you even slightly move your nunchuk near a door you will go through the door. Oh! That reminds me. The load times in Marvel Ultimate Alliance are so much shorter than those in X-Men. This is so satisfying if you have been a fan of the X-Men games. As for the characters... there is a gigantic variety of some unknown and some well known characters (20+ to be exact). The smart thing is you have to beat the game twice before unlocking them all (once on hard and once on normal or easy). The graphics are the only thing that bugs me. I dont know if they are better or worse than the X-Men games but if you love graphics get it for one of the other two systems. The last thing is the lack of online play which seriously drags it away from the other two versions.

All in all this game is very good with a lot of content but with the lack of online play, the poor story, and the make your eyes bleed graphics it lowers its A- grade to a B.
