Red Steel Member Review for the Wii

A sorted starter shooter for the Wii!. Who said that corridor FPS was boring? Isn't that what Goldeneye and Doom did? Just because Halo has a wide open enviroment (of which there is still a fixed linear path!! not unlike a wide corridor!) doesn't make this old school style shooter worth a D. Yeah Red Steel will not re-invent your ideas of FPS, but it will get you used to a totally new style of play! I would consider myself a good FPS player, but now I am having to work for my kills! I imagine the people who hate this game are also the same people who let auto aim do all their work! The sword fighting is simple, but it works!! Think about it.... if the sword fighting was 100% realistic, only professional swordsmaster would progress through the game! Red Steel is getting you trained up for great things! Remember.... Patience my young Padawan learner! Red Steel is an obvious stepping stone for a new console and a completely new way to play! Stop creaming over the faulted Halo 2 and appreciate Red Steel for what it is. A shoot-em up!!! Plain and simple! The start of many great things to come!
