What do these ratings mean?

I remember the game "The House of the Dead", and I also remember how much fun it was.  I was excited to learn that Wii had a new rail shooter coming and you could use the Wii Zapper with it.  This game has completely ruined all the fun memories, and expectations I had.  Here's several reasons why:

First, my biggest complaint is the difficulty of the game.  Even on Easy, the game is just too brutal to be fun.  Before you get all up in arms and start calling me "noob", I'd like to say that it's mostly difficult because of the stupid reload system.  You're supposed to shake the wii remote to reload, but too often I find that instead of reloading, my crosshair just bounces across the screen.

Second, the "head shots"  or critical shots that can help you drop creatures in one shot are not reliable at all.

Third, you're given plenty of health "herbs", but in all the wrong places, or when your HP is already full.

Fourth, bosses have so much HP that you need two players just to take them down in a reasonable time.

Fifth, the knife...stupid addition to the game.  Early on you'll fight mutant slugs that jump on your "face",  blocking your screen. You need to swat them away with a knife (carving up your face in the process??) in a timely manner or be damaged.  You'll eventually just be swinging the remote thinking "Are they done yet?  No?  Ugh, can I shoot a zombie yet?  No...still slugs..."

I like the Resident Evil series, but wow, this game just turned me into a zombie.

I do agree with the difficulty. But if you're playing with a buddy it's not as bad. I think the difficulty is challening. That why I like it.
