UN-FREAKIN-BELIEVABLE

When i first heard about Fable, i had $100 to spend on any game i wanted, regretably i spent half of that on Burnout 3 and the rest on Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance. But then my friend showed me the holy grail of gaming, and he first heard about it when his.......um....... uncle who prefers the company of men showed him.

Role Playing Games never occured to me untill i played Fable, although you would have to admit that this is the best RPG ever made. The graphics on the characters seem a bit slack but they make up for it with great environments. The camera is in a good position although it can get slightly annoying. The Gameplay is awsome and the story is good enough. I like the whole idea of you starting off as a young boy who was dependant apon his father who made sure that he grew up with a Halo and not Horns, but you're the one who controls that, not him. The town gets attacked by bandits and your sister gets kidnapped. A wizard guy takes you to a big building to make you grow up to be a hero (sounds like Star Wars). Not to mention your father getting killed.

You get given a sword, a bow and arrows, and you learn how to use them along with special powers (i like to call myslef a Jedi at this point). You have to take on fun challengeing quests, but unfortunately there aren't enough of these. For a game with so much build up, you'd think they'd go to the amount of missions GTA San Andreas has, but no, GTA has about 120, Fable has 120 minus 100. 20 missions is not satisfying enough at all for a game that has everyone talking. you kill some massive bandit who cut out your sisters eyes after you've done about 10 quests. And that's half the game gone already.

But this game has great gameplay topped off by doing whatever the hell you want to get a Halo above your head or Horns ON your head. That's why I think this game Deserves an A.
