Halo 2. There is alot that could be said about this game. Lets start with this. Halo 2 was suppose to be amazing like the first one. In the story, gameplay, and most importantly graphics and multiplayer. I was and still am I huge fan of the first one. Absalutley love it. And I was more than dieing to see and play Halo 2. After reading all the hype on the net and all the TV shows talking about how amazing it was I was lideraly ready to **** myself when I got it. But once I turned it on and started playing I was majorly disapointed. The first thing I noticed was the really obvious. The glitchy cutscenes. Jeez, the choppy blurry glitches that happens in every cutscene was a joke. It really showed the game was rushed out and not polished. The glitches really took my attention from the story. Next, the new guns everyone is always talking about. I dont understand the hype over the weapons. The new machine gun sucks. It only shoots in burst and it takes a whole clip to kill a normal unit. Its not anywhere close to as cool as the marine machine gun on the first one. And this is a war that is suppose to be in the future. Why do the guns resemble todays weapons and why are they still using bullets? The little oozies on there are poor looking and lame to use. They tried to spice that up by letting you duel hold them but that makes it like the normal gun on the first Halo.
The graphics during the game are almost the same as Halo. You can tell they hurried this game out to profit from its fame. They didnt include ONE SINGLE LADDER! Its always ramps. Why ? I dont know. The story is 50/50 kinda lame. Not as action packed as the first. There is no replay value to the game. Nothing to unlock. Halo 2 is basically Halo online. They through together a single player and sent out all kinds of hype on the net and put multiplayer on it. The multyplayer isnt even that good. The only reason people like it is the fact they can say "Im playing Halo2 online" Call of Duty, Battlefield 2, Medal of Honors, hell every game out there now a days have vehicles and multiplayer woopty doo. The vehicles have damage???? I saw online vehicle damage on Call of Duty. Halo 2 is out dated before it even came out. It was just backed up with hype. I wont rate this good its not that good. It should not have been $50.00 it should have been $29.00. No new features or modes. Just goes online. And in todays standards the online play is already beat by other games.
