I dont personally own this game but I play it at my friends house. I have a number of things to say. For one, the Mortal Kombat fighting series I came to know and love has turned into a sort of Gauntlet spin off. Just a word for Midway, in later Mortal Kombat games, stick to straight fighting. Anyway this game consumed so much of my time. I accidently spent about 6 and a half hours playing this game with my friend in co-op mode. I don't know if I was having fun or just really determined to beat it. One feature that the game is able to keep from previous MK games are fatalitys. Just about the coolest feature of the game is getting your power meter up and going ripshit on your foes with fatalities. Lastly, the character restriction is annyoing. It would have been better if you could choose your character then go play. However, the game was able to give me enough entertainment for about 6 and a half hours straight so Midway must have done SOMETHING right. Overall, I give the game a B+.
