I'm gonna admit something to you: Jedi Outcast is the reason I bought an Xbox instead of a PS2. That's right, way back when, I saw this game and said, "That looks pretty cool." It turned out to be on XB, so that's what I got. And I wasn't disappointed. From the opening text crawl, this one is a Star Wars adventure on par with most games out today. The gameplay is smooth as butta, Stormtroopers blasting and Dark Jedi slashing right and left. But it isn't all mindless action, as the game is full of smart, sometimes very difficult puzzles that you have to solve with your fancy-shmancy Jedi powers. And of course, being a Star Wars game, the sound was superb. If you own an Xbox, but haven't had the chance to experience Outcast, definitely pick it up now.
