What do these ratings mean?

It is about damn time. There have only been a few Punisher games on some of the older systems, but this is the first current-gen game for my favorite anti-hero.  Instead of being based on the movie, the story and levels are based on the "Welcome Back Frank" Punisher Max graphic novel. It is probably my favorite graphic novel I have ever read. The game however, doesn't go as smoothly as the comic. The game is a very generic third person action game. You run around shoot.Checkpoint. Run some more and shoot. There is not much else to this game. The environments in the game are very flat and not nearly as interactive as they should be. They are often time bland and can get very repetitive. That's not to say this isn't a good game though. The goal of the game is to be merciless, and kill the hundreds and hundreds of nameless goons. There are also interigations that add to the gameplay. You can shove a gun into their mouth in order to get some information. Then there are special interigations that include sharks, acid vats, drills, rihno, and meat packaging machines. The only problem with these are that if you decide to kill the goon you are interigating, the camera pulls away from the action, and it turns black and white. You don't even get to see you bloody masterpiece. In each level you get style points that rack up when you kill goons without being shot, and kill them diferently. Unfortunatly, if you kill someone in an interigation (shove them into the acid vat) you lose style points. What the Hell!!?? It's the punisher, he is supposed to be punishing.  This is a fairly good action game that I recomend to only those of you that are really into Punisher or repetitive killing.
