Recently, on the Xbox360, there seems to have been a number of games released which have been lauded as absolutely must have games. Titles like Dead Rising and Assasins Creed are such titles which suffer, for me, from style over substance.
The release of Bioshock was a moment in gaming that I was looking forward to with intense anticipation. Having long since fallen in love with System Shock 2 a spiritual follow up sounded too good to be true. Unfortunately it was.
Don't get me wrong Bioshock is a very good game in its own right but I just couldnt get into it like I did with SS2. Maybe like Thief 3 the dumbing down for console took that little something away from the game experience.
Just like my old school reports its a case of C+ could do better for Bioshock.
