Call of Duty 2 was the first game I ever played on the Xbox 360. I found it to be very enjoyable and very violent. Everybody loves violence! You start out as a Russian named Vasilli who is going through training. In the training you throw potatoes (No, not the potatoes, we need the potatoes), shoot wine bottles (Oh! Hell no), and whack teddy bears (Save the precious teddy bears). Then, a Nazi shows up at your camp, where you then watch the crap get kicked out of him and then go into battle.
You open off in Russia with about 7 teammates who are trained to kill one person for every hundred people you kill. Although its not hard to mow down the Nazis. All you have do is throw in a grenade and start firing. This is especially fun because the Nazis start yelling all sorts of crap in German and you stand there and mow them down. This shows a little bit of weak AI, but I have no problems with it.
I prefer the online play because the opponents are smarter. The online mode is a lot like Halo 2s online mode in the sense that you kill each other. It is much easier to die though. You can't take round after round of machine gun ammo into your stomach and recover. If you take 5 shots from a machine gun, odds are, you will be killed.
I tend to play more sports games than just games with shooting, but this game is definitley worth buying. If you don't feel like paying $60 for this game. You can wait until later this year when Call of Duty 3 comes out. I can tell you that the price will drop down at least $15. You could also think about buying it used.
After you finish with Russia, you move to Africa where you run into bunkers, mow down some Nazis, and blow up some barrels. The game designers did incredibly well with the graphics and it still looks good on a non HDTV. I have had lots of fun running recklessly into rooms and firing shots. One thing I particularly enjoy about this game is that it really feels like you wer in it. This can be good or bad depending on how you like to play.
Another thing I love about this game is that when you are being talked to, if you turn away you can barely hear the guy who's yapping at you. I like this game a lot and play online quite a bit. If you feel like playing online, tell me your gamertag and I will send you a friend request. My gamertag is monkeymafia22 so have fun playing online. I would rate this game a B+.
