What do these ratings mean?

First of all, I'm a big fan of fallout even before most of you spoiled brats knew how to use a computer. Fallout 1 and 2 really changed how RPG would be played forever! And most of you would never truly appreciate this long awaited part 3 cuz you never knew how great its ancestors really were. Download them to truly feel what its like to be a true fallout fan!

Now enough with the hate message. Ahem. I've waited TOO long for this game really. And even until now, I can't believe I'm living the dream. When I stepped out of that vault and see the wasteland, my first words were... wow. Then I cried. Ladies and gentle dogs, this is the SHIT! Game of the year, hands down, for the next 2 years!

Well since GR already gave you most of what its like, let me give you my "veteran" point of view. Lots of people would complain, why do we only where body and head armor? Why aren't there any rings, necklaces, gloves, and boots, like in Oblivion? Well, for starters, let it be known that this is FALLOUT3, not Elder scrolls. So it has nothing to do with oblivion. Its a stand alone. So quit *****ing. But of course, we can't help but compare this to oblivion, which was the game of last year!

This game makes oblivion look like a walk in the park. In oblivion, moving around the world, you would encounter random stuff, but all too boring compared to fallout. In fallout3, you might just take a stroll in the park and find a slavers camp, or a nesting ground. Even worst, an active atomic bomb in the center of a settlement which failed to blow up for some reason. Wherever you go in the wasteland, there's always a special treat to it. Plus, there's two radio stations to listen from while you're making your epic trip. Nothing like good old 50s music.

Game play is awesome. The V.A.T. system is really well portrayed in first person shooter. Could be the first of its kind in RPG FPS. The VAT stops time and lets you decide which part of the body you wanna hit. Could be the arm that baddy is using holding a gun. Or if he ain't got head gears, then aim for the head. That kinda thing. Its really lots of fun. Some might find it repetative after 20 hours of game play. But there's never a dull moment using VAT for me personally.

The AI is really smart in this game. Real smart. For example, Raider A has a gun, and Raider B has a knife. Raider B is comming at you about 50 feet away, while Raider A is shooting you. If you shoot down Raider A first, Raider B would run back and get the gun from the body of Raider A and start shooting you. Now how smart is that? So don't underestimate the baddies.

If there is anything wrong with this game, it would be the diagonal walking. You know... pressing forward and sideward at the same time? There isn't any animation for it, so you see yourself walking forward in animation when in fact you're walking diagonally. Same problem with oblivion and I can't believe they never fixed that! Also, sometimes, you shoot a baddie, then his body just flies around like some crazy bee. Physics engine needs some tweaks.

{For the first time in a long time in an RPG game, there are finally children! Amazing ey? Kids in an FPS! Last time I played a game where there a kids was FEAR. And that kid wasn't even alive.}

Even if there are minor glitches in the game, the greatess of the game itself overcomes it. I'm warning you, you might just lose your job playing this game. Or fail in your class. Or never even ever attend class again. Its addictive, and will keep you glued long after this year is over.

So if you are an RPG FPS fan and like open world non-lenear adventures with making good and bad desicions. Then this game is for you. Heck, its for everyone! And you still don't have this game, then you're a loser! LOL.
