What do these ratings mean?

I was and still am a big Oblivian fan so when went out and dropped $60 on Fallout 3 and popped it into the good 'ol 360 I was alittle up set.  At first I noticed alot of cheap recycled crap from Oblivian like some sounds and well its the same engine.  I was soo up set that I was ready to give up and slap that disk in the drawer with the rest of the crap games I have. I figured I'd give it a chance and low and behold I'm hooked.  I LOVE THIS GAME.  It should be awarded the title of game of the year.  FSP RPG all in one everything a gamer could want except for online play but that's ok even though would it not be fun to wonder the waste land with a bunch of people.  I guess that would be too much like W.O.W.  Long and skinny is get this game but be prepared to get lost in the waste land. I was able to log 150 hrs of game time since November 20th and still maintaine a 64 hour a week job so buyer beware its crack in a little green box.

I have noticed alot interest in this review so I decided to expand it a bit.  First off a little in sight into the game.  Like the previous mentioned game you start out by making a decision on what you look like your sex and physical attributes.  Cool but not that customizable.  Another cool feature is you have karma which (like Earl) dictates the coarse of the game or your life which ever you prefer.  Good karma gets you good things bad karma gets you well... bad things or good depending on your preferance.  The karma you have has a direct effect on the out come of the game and the way the npc view you.

The V.A.T.S. or vault-tec assisted targeting system is a way to dominate your enemy.  The V.A.T.S. gives you a percentage of the probability of hitting that part of your enemies body.  For example a super mutant is heading your way so you whip out your trusty hunting rifle and initialize the V.A.T.S. at this time the action freezes and you can chose the body part you want to target body ,arms, legs or head.  Pop of a few rounds and watch the gore.  See the V.A.T.S. for your self in the screen shots section.  And yes the game does look that good.

I know I did say there were a few things that I didn't like about the game.  To see a few of them read the other review that is on GR that gave the game a D rating.  Just remember this is a new edition to the Fallout franchize and that the developers decided to revamp the game and make it a "new" experience.  Hell if Rockstar didn't do that with the GTR series where would that game be?  Hmm!  Where would it be?

If you like or hate this review I welcome any and all feed back.  THANKS! and ENJOY!
