With Bungie's leap to next-generation platforms and interstellar space closer to home, I wonder if E.T. is out there somewhere.

While younger gamers have flocked to the brand, more mature consumers remain reluctant to jump on board. Skylanders move forward with trappable enemies, though I doubt it’ll turn stubborn heads.

I have and will continue to have a place in my heart for Nintendo. In fact, my first console was a Super Nintendo. The video game market has changed drastically since the early '90s and it seems like what once was platinum is more so along the lines of silver now. Nintendo has always been...

What do these ratings mean?

Gears of war has the best graphics of any game out there! And its action is insane. The placement of walls, boxes, trees, and other objects make it so that you have to be able to "hug the corners" when running through a multi-player map. Very well done and thought out game. But... (now here is were many will hate me) during multi-player it seams that the game is just "rock, paper, scissors." That is that for example, you could be running up to an opponent and point blank head shot with a shot gun and nothing happens, then they shout at you and your head blows off. There has been times were I have sleeked up behind someone and pistol wiped them or shot them point blank with a shot gun and they turn around and boom you explode. Another instance is when they have the shotgun out and I have a pistol out and I run up to them and melee them and they get stunned then I quickly melee again and you watch them start to go down then you see a shotgun blast and your the one that dies as the opponents friend comes up and revives them. And I'm not even going to get into how much the grenade tags sometimes blow you up after tagging another player when you are no were near the opponent and then other times when you get tagged and get "downed" how you don't blow up with the grenade but the tagger does. Over all this game is truly a work of art it just has some kinks that need to be worked out.
