LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Everything I Learned About Call of Duty: Ghosts Last Week
I wasn't allowed to talk about the new Infinity Ward game last week when I met with Activision, and I don't have much to say now that Xbox One spilled the beans.

What do these ratings mean?

The Good: Jaw dropping graphics, Jaw removing game play, interesting story, easy control setup and duck and cover maneuvers, superb and addictive online multiplayer, co-op adds tons of replay value, excellent Achievement system

The Bad: Campaign is too short, story could have been fleshed out a bit more, not enough weapons, some minor graphical glitches with texture pop-up

I'm only maybe 3 hours into GoW but it's blew me away after the first level! The graphics are the best so far in any game PERIOD! The story line is very good (which is kind of rare now-a-days in shooters) the character have well...character and you get attached to them! The style of art Epic used is fantastic and if it were any other style it would really suck. The game play is fantastic and killing every Locust (the enemy) is extremely satisfying. There may not be many guns (GoW 2 should have at least 10). There are many enemy types which is also rare in these days’ shooters. The controls are very tight and easy to use. Everything is done with one button but isn't so dull and simple it bores you! You use A to snap against cover then use the left analog stick and hold it up then press A to leap over, or hold it to the left or right to do a dodge roll out.

The greatest feature is the roadie run where you hold down A and Marcus (the main character) will do a ducking run but the camera is set at such a great angle it makes your jaw drop EVERYTIME! The blood IS perfect like everyone says and the chainsaw bayonet is probably the best thing since sliced aliens! You hold down B to charge it up then you run after your enemy (using the left analog stick only to move Marcus) and you just run up to them and you slice them in half and blood and guts fly and it's so satisfying EVERY SINGLE TIME! The level design is perfect and the pacing is perfect. I haven't tried the online play yet but I'm sure it's even more addictive then the single player! The achievements are worth achieving too and they make u feel like you accomplished something (even though most are gained online). This game is just perfect! To be nitty gritty there should have been more weapons, less linearity (what shooter isn't?), a more fleshed out story (like Jeff said in the GS review).

The game IS worth $60 and you SHOULD buy a 360 just for this game! Trust me its worth it and I rarely like games this much! It lived up to the hype and then some. I think that GoW is even better then Halo! Yeah, Marcus Fenix is my new Master Chief. GoW sticks close to my heart and close to my collection. It's one of THE best games and most memorable ones I've ever played. Great job Epic and Cliffy B.!
