Halo 3:

I, like many others, played the first and second halo games religiously. I loved the first game's campaign, and the seconds' multi-player,  and was hoping that the latest (i won't say 'last' just yet :O) might combine both elements. Does it? Find out... right.......now!

To start with, let's talk plot. Did i say plot?... i meant KILL KILL KILL!!!! I'm sure there was a plot to this game, but to be honest i didn't find it very interesting, and was looking forward during cutscenes to get back into the action.  I can't really remember the purpose of all this bloodshed...something about killing aliens for some vast skin-trading network... or something. Anyway, i would not say the campaign even comes CLOSE in impact to the first game, although it's certainly 'neater' than the last one in terms of wrapping things up.

Lets move on to the graphics department. Multiplayer looks great in my opinion, 640p or not. Single player looks decent, although i must say there is a limit to HDR usage, and Halo3 certainly pushes it. I co'opd through the campaign also, and i would say it looked good, but not amazing. All in all, i'm running this on 720p HD, and overall it's one of the prettiest games for the 360.

Speaking of multiplayer, it's great. Definitely the best mulitplayer experience i've had with any game, and the most immersive and beatiful as well. No complaints whatsoever.

Sound: Sound was good, if you've played any other halo's you know the score is incredible. Enough said.

OVERALL:

Story: 6. Good enough, but not great
Gameplay: 10. No complaints here.
Graphics: 9. Great in multiplayer, decent in single.
Sound: 10. Duh.
Single Player: 8. Good enough i suppose
Multiplayer: 10. Enjoy.

FINAL SCORE: 92, A-
