Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it
By Starling

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

What do these ratings mean?

Congratz Soldier, You've, Been Re-Drafted.

It finally arrived, the game I had ben waiting for since I first beat Halo 2 ( Although I obviously didn't expext it that soon) But Now that its here I wonder, Did it really live up to all the hype?

Sadly, I think it did not, They started the H3 Campaign far to long before its release, and that may have been where they went MOST wrong.

But to the Review:

You once again take the role of Master Chief, The Deadly Green Giant, to, Finally "Finish This Fight." The story picks up where it left off in H2(If you don't remember that was the covenant ship, where the line "Sir, Finishing this fight." Was spoken) You land on what I believe is Earth, After you get your bearings, that is do the look up, now down, now left, now right, You get yourself a new Machine Gat and are on your way. Nothing much has changed as far as gameplay goes, and thats probably for the best. "If it ain't broke, Don't fix it." Your main  objective is to shoot anything that isnt the Arbiter or a human, although you can break those rules if you want. Dual-Weilding works the same way, same weapons anyway, with the exception of the needler, Which in H2 was Able to Dual-Wield, Alas in Halo 3, it is not. Your weapons consist of the same ones you've grown to know and love, plus a FEW new ones, The new ones don't bring much to the table, a new POD Launcher,Chaingun, and the fact that they can be dismounted for mobility is great bt you'll move so slow you'll probably give up on them after a few deaths.

The story line is, well, Linear at best. Nothing seems new, and when you think about it, what else can they do? The way the last story;ines unfolded left them on a path, and with the last story, it would be hard to add anything new without totally confusing everyone, or at least a few of the, umm, AHEM, dumber crowd. But it does do a good job of wrapping up the war, and since alot of what I bought H3 for was to see how it concluded, I guess all in all I would say that I am sastisfied with the outcome, all though the road to get there was tedious.

The AI is still good, not great, even on legendary, Sadly, I found the Legendary on H3 to be lacking Difficulty, Even more so that H2, wich on legendary took me FOREVER, but on H3 on;y took me a few days, barley longer that it took me to beat it on Heroic. So if your looking for unforgiving enimies, look elsewhere, They seem to have lost agressivness as the war continued, on Halo 2 Leg. they seemed to just throw themselves at you, wave after wave of enemy pouring down, bullet flying, Truly a difficult experience.

Multi-Player is still the Profanity induced, frag fest we've all grown to know and love, New maps are fun, but since there are No, or none that I played, maps from Halo 2 on H3, Have fun with the new maps, cuz its all you got, for now. Nothing much changed in the MP dept. either, the main diffrence is the weapons, and power-ups, you know, shields, invincibility, cloacking, over shield. All in all I don't think this game earned it colors, but MP is great and the other reason I bought it, if you had to get your frag on in Next-gen, Then H3 is where you should look.
