Having no Competition and a Monopoly is Great... For EA.
There are no extras in this game at all. Just Quick Game, Franchise, and Online. The Graphics are not that amazing for a Next-Gen Title. There is no Highlight Show like in NFL2K5 for XBOX. Disappointing.
Good thing I kept my Original XBOX and My copy of NFL2K5. (Sega, Please make this work on 360)
Some of the Players look plain weird. The sideline and stadium is improved but not much, there is nothing special going on.
The Controls seem sluggish, you make a move and sometimes it seems that it is lagging behind.
The Default View has you in too tight to see your receivers. You can switch to view them, but then you can't switch back until the next play.
Now for my Favorite;
I'm playing as the Lions (Poor me) against the Packers in Green Bay.
Packers have a 3rd and Goal, Favre sends the receiver in motion, the Receiver runs into Favre and is sliding him behind the Tight End. With the Receiver running in Place the Center hikes the ball. It still gets to Favre who is not behind center??? He is pinned behind the Invisible wall that Outlines the Outside Tackle.
Good job (Implicit Sarcasm).
I heard another guy talking about his field goal that hit the upright and bounced over, 3 points, then the words No Good Flash up on the screen.
No Problem just challenge the Call... Oops there are NO Challenges in Madden06 for 360.
This are just a few examples of the sloppy job EA did with Madden06.
Avoid this Title at all cost! Boycott EA and their Exclusive License!
If this is the Turd Programming I have to put up with till 2012 then I will be disappointed because NFL Football Video Gaming is my Favorite Genre, what's a Gamer to do.... |
