Five Star *****This review is based on a 2 month ownership***** Soulwriter

This game is like a fabrication of toilet paper.  I mean this game has an explosive intro, Wolverine is slashing and smashing, Spidey is slinging and swinging, Thor (god of thunder) simply looks more like the god of war, and Captain America is throwing  his decked out frisby around.  Honestly, the intro is impressive and as a matter of fact thats the reason why I bought the game cash. Pluss, I looked at the back of the case which  had huge characters or should I say it had a pic zoomed in by at least 100X, okay maybe I exagerated, but so did  Activision.

The first thing that you will realize about the game wether  its on a 42 inch 1080p widescreen or not, is the very small characters and graphics that seems as if they were intended for  past generation consoles.  I mean at first, you probaly wont mind.  Why?  Maybe because like me, your looking foward to the next action packed cut-scene.  Well... You could forget about that! Because the game dramatically lays back on the graphics for the story lines, and as you go further into the game, they start to cut-back on the level graphics as well.  For short, it looks as if they rushed through the rest of the game from after the 2nd mission on.

The gameplay itself is a little repetetive. Aside from the individual superhero talents (which is impressive) , all the characters has only three combos that can be executed.  I swear its likes playing Sega's Street of Rage series.  The game developers think they're slick too, because they throw in a little bit of bull $#!7 puzzles  to earn the title action-rpg which might justify the gameplay, which only gets worst as the game goes along, because the fighting  engine or what ever it is, is extremely weak.  Along with the tiredsome story line, the A.I is stupid (from your partners, to ya enemies), and I its like they get dumber as the game goes on.  The one thing if anything that  will keep you playing is, the leveling up scheme which determines your powers that are available to you at the time for your comic hero.  Another good thing is, even if your not using your bench players,  they level up with your active players.  Which is good, because once you get tired of playing w/ your normal team, you could just switch to other characters w/ out worry.

The game based on my oppinion is a game that you play if you are  high, or drunk.  This game will not have you thinking about it while you are at school/ work or while your playing something else like Ghost Recon (highly addictive).  But, in my oppinion this game is an excellent HIGH game, ( excluding the underwater level, you must be sober for that) because its very simple, 3 combos, 2 attack buttons, block, grab and throw, master that,  your good to go.  But, in a sober state of mind its a C-, nothing more maybe less.
