What do these ratings mean?

Mass Effect.

Visuals

Graphics are Gorgeous and easily one of the best I’ve seen so far. very detailed. the only problem would be after a load, you would need to wait a few seconds before all the of detail is in place. Other then that, the visuals are perfect.

Plot

story line is amazing and will keep you hooked and wondering what will happen next throughout the whole game.  the way they make you chose what path you will take makes the game even more interesting.

Play

Controls were made very well and its never to hard to control the character. To control your vehicle though is a different story. its not always very nasty to drive, but there are points in the game where you want it to go one way, but because you’re looking the other way it goes a different way.  Very frustrating.

Personal Negative

There was a point in the game where a technical error happened and I was just stuck in a invisible wall of some sort and couldn’t move. I already spent 20 minutes getting to where I was from my last save point. There was no way to get out of the invisible force, so that was a huge disappointment for me.

Personal Positive

I really enjoy how videogames today have amazing physics. Mass effect also delivers this.  Whether it’s lifting your enemy up with a lift or driving on rough terrain on your vehicle.  The physics engine in the game delivers. Now I want to see madden do this

Extra

I completed the game a little under 12 hours on the casual difficulty level and didn’t do much of the side quests. I noticed there will be future downloadable content and I can’t wait for that to happen. If they add multi player then my grade for this game goes up by one.

Verdict

+ Amazing Visuals

+ Chose your Destiny Storyline

+ Good Mix of Action/RPG game play

- Not always good vehicle controls

- If you die, you start back at your last save point and that might not be anywhere you were
