Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it
By Starling

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

What do these ratings mean?

When Phantasy Star came out for the Dreamcast a few years ago, I remember watching my grades drop as I attempted to immerse myself in the game.  Phantasy Star was the WoW before WoW came out.

But this game just is dissapointing... really.  I was excited for the sequel for Phantasy Star Online, and I wanted this to rival WoW so badly... you know, America vs Japan, PC vs console, medieval vs futuristic.  First, let me tell you that the single player mode is REALLY BAD.  The game is so reptative, but I would have let that go... except for multiplayer mode.

They did do some stuff right, allowing you to strafe and the interface is a lot more streamlined and helpful.  But that's about it.  First of all, I hate the $10 a month and $50ish up front.  (WoW is $20 up front and $13 a month... and no, I don't play WoW.)

What I was dissapointed this time with the game was the fact that there are so few people in the Gutral Star System...maybe they're all in Azeroth on holdiay?  The game is repetative and the quests unimaginative, and this game just was... boring!  Yes, boring!  I loved the dystopyian Phantasy Star II (one of my favorite games ever!), Phantasy Star IV and Online... but this is sad.  The AI has the classic, sad, stupid, grunt level of intelligence that would lose to an Orc (Zug-Zug!) in a game of Jeporady!.  It's too small, and no one is there... or too few.

This game is addictive for all of you people who don't play WoW alot.  Still, I would recommend Azeroth over Gutral.  That's just me... this pains me to give this score.  Oh, well.  Zug-Zug.
