What do these ratings mean?

As a self-proclaimed GTA patron, and Mayor of San Andreas, I fell it is my obligation, NO, My duty to shed some light on the GTA clones out there, and to fulfill my rightous quest, I shall now review Saint's Row:

After some Charachter Modification you will see how similar Stilwater, and San Andreas really are, both are overrun with gangs, prostotutes, crime, litter, cars, and even buildings. You start out has a happy go-lucky seemingly mute guy with no name,(Hey already sounds like GTA 3) Who just happens to be in the wrong place, at the wrong time, This is when you realize how overrun I meant when I said overrun, You find yourself caught up in a gangta-love(or hate, its a thin line really)triangle. After a few bullet exchanged and a hilarious car wreck which you narrowly avoid, but are wounded by, You find your self face-to-face with your maker, which, as it turns out, looks alot like a 9mm.You must realize there is no escape from your doom as you close your eyes and await the inevitable, but as the gun shot rings out you realize that your not the one lying face-down in a pool of your own blood, you have been given a gift, the gift, of life, Welcome to the 3rd Street Saints.

Its at this point that you realize how much they have in common (SR and GTA that is.) Once you've taken control of your playa, you'll start to notice that if you've played GTA, you won't have to learn any new controls, or at least very few. Controls are tight, and easy to master since the only real diffrence is no auto-aim. Vehicles are the same as in the GTA games to, except that you don't have to have a SMG to to drive-bys, and you can shoot in any direction you can place those crosshairs, which is great for shooting the guy in front of, or behind you which is where someone you where chasing/being chased by would be.

Graphics are great when put up next to previous GTA games and clones. The threat of going about a 150mph and wrapping yourself around a tree which isn't even there yet is gone, FINALY!!! Another thing that is a long over-due feature, is that car wrecks have consequences, if you turn into oncoming traffic going 100mph and hit an oncoming vehicle, he/she or you, or both will go flying out of the windshield of your car(s).Which is very sweet when you tick some gangs off, and they start chasing you, they'll come at youfrom oncomming traffic, you can swing sideways and hit them with the side of your ride on the front of thiers, and watch them fly out of thier cars in heaps of dead gangbangers.

In the most important quality (or at least one of them) the storyline, it is veryn fun or at least is if your into that, if you liked GTA SA, you'll like the story line for Saint's Row. Its full of intresting characters, crazy objectives, all of which usually are centerd around one basic concept, Kill kill, Die die. You will be asked to all sorts of things for the Saints that I wouldn't expect the Military would ask you to do overseas. And you will get the fire-power to do them, or you will die.Weapons consit of the usual, 9mm, .45,.50 cal pistols, 12 guages, ll the way to riot shotguns, and of course what GTA clone would be complete without a: RPG, which you can buy from gun stores. Hell to the YEAH!! Assault rifles aplenty, and you will soon learn if you have no weapon, you have no life, or rather, you won't.

Side-missions are bountiful, and most are fun and sometimes to easy, these missions run the gamet from Mayhem(which is just as it sounds), todriving hoes while they service thier johns, all the way to Insurance fraud. You have you racing missions, if thats your thing, drug trafficking, really what ever you want to do, you can probably do it.

All-in-all Saint;s Row is the best GTA clone to date, and if you want a little bit of next-gen GTA, not only is Saint's Rw your best choice, its probably the only one

.
