What do these ratings mean?

The game itself makes other Soul Calibur fans feel appretiative knowing the fact the game has finally came out.

In this game, you get new guest characters from Star Wars series(Yoda, and Darth Vader's secret apprentice, well he's no secret now.) It weird to have these characters in the game, but apparenty it fits the story line.

Speaking of the story line, there are 5 stages in the story line. That's it!? only five stages in each story? Yes this time there are 5 stages in story mode, Unlocking characters and even gold pieces to buy your needs are relativley upsetting. Somehow Arcade Mode there are 8 stages. Really? having more stages in Arcade mode than story mode? how disappointing.

Other than story mode they have improved the mutiplaying fun. They now added a new online action. This is extremely fun to do, but from what i see in rank matches, people will begin to do the same combo or attack over and over. It really makes you think how much fun you will have.Actually in player matches, you can host or join a friend. It's fun to play in a player match because you're playing against your friends. If you or your friend has more than two people in the room(Maximum of 4 are in a room) The winner of the battle will continue the fight. The loser however will wait and spectate the matches until it's their turn to fight. This line of battling is one thing i found most creative in Soul Calibur history.

Coming back to the Star Wars characters. Each Star Wars characters will being able to have a new bar on its screen. That bar represents how much force power they will have. How great is that, having a limit on how much force you use? guess Yoda can't be too powerful.

Other than all the new modes and characters being put in the game. It's still the same sound effects and quotes they have had in the previvious games like here's an example "Wind, guide me!" That quote from Talim is still the same quote she says. The battles are still the same, same special attacks and combos. They did however add "Critical Finish" into the action.

So basically, Soul Calibur IV is still the same teen rated fun that has been ever since. All the newer features were what i loved most about this game. I rate this "B+" It's still the same game with better graphics and newer features
