What do these ratings mean?

Before I begin my review I'd like to put up a hint that helped me. The stage when you have to pull down the starship it is easier to just shoot the tie fighters with your force lightning rather than aim the jet engines at them.

I have never been a huge fan of the Star Wars saga, don't get me wrong it's an alright story with some nice effects, and I was an even less of a fan to Star Wars games. Star Wars Force Unleashed led me to believe I was going to get a new and unique take on the Star Wars universe. I was disappointed by the general lack of difference from most other Lucas games. ( Spoiler Alert!!!!) Although you start out as Darth Vader's personal Jedi hunter this actually only accounts for 3 missions. The rest of the time you are a supposed double agent, working for Vader while gaining the trust of the rebellion. I feel the story was Forced right down my throat, almost like an opposite version of Revenge of the Sith, with Vader starting out evil then turning good. The game itself plays nicely. Although I feel the levels were a little too linear most of the time I did like some of the open areas where you could really expand on your knowledge of the force. Graphically the game impresses, most characters from previous movies are easily recognizable from their faces alone. As mention above depth perception becomes a somewhat serious problem in the game as well as force gripping the right object. All in all this is a good game for the casual gamer, great game for hardcore Star Wars fans, and probably one to be avoided by anyone who hates Star Wars.
