What do these ratings mean?

SVR 08 is pretty good. It has many positives and negatives to the gameplay but I will point out only the obvious ones. The struggle Submission System is a great addition because of the realism it adds. The new grapples offer a better real wrestling experience  and offer you a better array of moves to use. Selecting what kind of wrestler you are such as, brawler, hardcore, submission, dirty, high-flyer, power. They add a personality and style to your wrestler. The weapons are still great and they add a few more thing s to play with or different ways to use them as well. Now the downside. WWE 24/7 mode which is suppose to be the highlight of the game is simply a disaster. Gaining large enough contracts to make enough money to buy things can be very tedious. It took me 2 full 24/7 mode years to get the $500,000 contract and I had won 180 matches in a row and had the title for over a year without losing it. The cutscenes are the exact same all the time. They're are about 4 or 5 total different ones that it will "randomly" switch between. There is no talking within the wrestlers basically at all. It's only JR and Lawler. The storylines they give you all suck and ultimately lead to nowhere. Overall it is a good game give or take a few negative parts it is still great for you and several friends to play together.
