10 Minutes Of Spinter Cell: Blacklist Gameplay Sneaks Out Of Gamescom

Posted on Monday, August 20 @ 16:12:34 Eastern by

At E3 2012, Ubisoft used the Microsoft press conference and a massive screen behind closed doors to show off Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Ubisoft Toronto's first project and a direct sequel to Splinter Cell: Conviction.

The same mark and execute gameplay returns, but Sam is back in his uniform for a less personal, more political story. Frankly, I'm happy I'm not just chasing after Sam's daughter anymore. Tom Clancy's narratives are at their best when the characters are dealing with huge, interpolitical, international threats.

Ouch. That poor dog! At least Sam got an execute move off of poor Fido. Splinter Cell: Blacklist is slated for a Spring 2013 release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC (as opposed to Conviction's Xbox 360 exclusivity).

ive enjoyed all the splinter cell games, IMO one of gaming's best franchises!

with that said, i really wish they would go back to the stealth game it used to be, while i enjoyed conviction it was simply a different type of game... to me it was like playing the BOURNE film franchise... which is fun & i enjoy it. i do like the interrogations and the feeling of being a badass...

but... i still prefer the older splinter cell games, id like a game more like chaos theory which is the best game in the franchise IMO...
and im upset they didnt use ironside for the voice over... he is splintercell!
i am happy they said their gonna bring back spies vs mercs...
ill just have to wait and see how it turn out...
