2K Marin Teases Impending XCOM Shooter Reveal

Posted on Wednesday, April 24 @ 06:39:02 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

After yanking all previous XCOM shooter-related content from the web and then teasing the gaming world with a mysterious new video, 2K Marin has come out to say plainly that the sci-fi shooter will be revealed "in the coming days."

On the studio's blog, the image you see above was posted as well as the following statement:

The creative development of this game has been a collaborative process of discovery and iteration. 2K’s culture allows our studios the freedom to refine their visions, to explore new ideas, and to deliver the best possible experiences for players. Through this exploration, 2K Marin has refined their vision, and as a result the game has evolved into a high-stakes narrative experience imbued with core XCOM concepts.

Are you excited for the impending reveal? Do you have confidence in 2K Marin to deliver a compelling experience set in the XCOM universe? Comment below and let us know.
