343 Industries Releases New Piece Of Concept Art For Halo 5

Posted on Thursday, January 9 @ 17:43:16 Eastern by Alex_Osborn
Halo development studio 343 Industries has released a new piece of concept art for the highly anticipated (and mysterious) new Halo game for Xbox One. Check it out below.

The release of this image comes hot off the heels of the recent announcement that Nicolas “Sparth” Bouvier is taking over as art director, while Kenneth Scott moves to the role of visual design consultant. The image you see above is Bouvier's handwork. Not too shabby if I do say so myself.

According to 343i's Josh Holmes, the released artwork is "an early exploration of a new location that features prominently in a little game project we’re tinkering with…." Don't you just love a good tease?

In case you were wondering, yes, this is now my new desktop wallpaper.
