343i Polishing Halo 4 Campaign, "Longbow" Multiplayer Map Detailed

Posted on Friday, June 29 @ 08:42:37 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Halo 4 developer 343 Industries has officially entered "super crunch time" as their upcoming chapter in the epic sci-fi saga approaches its November 6th release date. According to an update from the team via Halo Waypoint, we now know that the entire campaign is "playable from start to finish, with some levels being near complete and others still needing some good, old-fashioned elbow grease."

With the bulk of the main game already finished, the team is now working on polishing up the experience and fine-tuning the ten on-disc multiplayer maps as well as the first few weeks of Spartan Ops.

In addition, 343i revealed a few details on one of the game's new multiplayer maps, dubbed "Longbow." This snowy map (pictured above) will serve as the perfect vista to showcase one of their new, unannounced game modes. The campaign still has co-op right? If not, I'll pass. Because Spartan Ops looks really shallow and boring.
