The Fallout 76 trailer has just dropped during the Bethesda Twitch stream, with the brand new Fallout game officially being revealed by the studio. The Bethesda Fallout site only directs viewers to the Fallout 76 trailer, offering no additional information. The publisher is set to reveal more during the Bethesda E3 Showcase, which will take place during E3 2018 on June 10th.
Fans had speculated that Bethesda’s Fallout announcement, which had been teased on Twitch over the course of the past day, would revolve around a Fallout 3 or Fallout 4 remaster. However, this is a brand new entry in the post-apocalyptic franchise, though further details are slim right now.
Many have concluded that this could be a Fallout MMO, with Bethesda following in the footsteps of its The Elder Scrolls Online by producing Fallout Online. While the short teaser trailer doesn’t hint towards the game being online, it’s anyone’s guess as to what Bethesda has up its sleeve right now.
