Mario Wii U, Smash Bros., Mario Kart To Be Shown Via Nintendo Direct Before E3

Software may be few and far between on the Wii U right now, but that all will change very soon, as the Big N has plans air a Nintendo Direct before E3 to show off some its upcoming heavy hitters for the the console.

According to the official Nintendo of America Twitter, the highly anticipated new Mario 3D game will be revealed, as well as the latest entries in the Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart franchises.

Aside from Pikmin 3Wind Waker HD and a handful of others, there isn't much confirmed to the platform. If the Wii U is going to survive the next couple of years, the upcoming trio of Mario-centric games have got to be absolute knock-outs.
