A Link To The Past Sequel Will Feature A Dark World

Posted on Thursday, May 2 @ 06:27:50 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 2 (as it is called in Japan) will feature a Dark World just like the Super Nintendo original that launched back in 1992.

Series producer Eiji Aonuma revealed this exciting bit of information to CNET, and I don't know about you, but I couldn't be more thrilled. As far as I'm concerned, the more Nintendo pulls from the original SNES classic, the better. That game is pure gold and holds up quite well even to this day.

Nintendo's sequel to A Link to the Past is expected to launch later this year. Will you be picking up a 3DS just to play this game, or do you already have the handheld and find yourself salivating at the thought of re-entering this incredible world once again? Sound off in the comments below.
