Activision Planning for GoldenEye Reloaded

Posted on Monday, June 27 @ 08:55:26 Eastern by

Activision is best known for one thing: Milking successful franchises until they cease to exist. Next on their "to kill" list is James Bond. 007 has found himself in and made his way out of many sticky situations. But Activision's kiss of death may prove to be too much.

Last year's Wii-make (we should totally trademark that) of the Nintendo 64 classic, GoldenEye, was enough to bring in some cash for Activision. Activision in turn is prepping some sort of remake, sequel, or port. At least it appears that way.

A few domain names were discovered which could act as official websites for a game dubbed GoldenEye: Reloaded. No details are known at this time, but the likely scenario has Activision re-releasing the Wii game with additional features, but this time for Xbox 360 and PS3.

How do you see this playing out?

Another grab at some easy money. Goldeneye is the most abused classic game ever.
