Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Activision To Unveil New Marvel Game At Comic-Con

Posted on Wednesday, July 11 @ 13:19:13 Eastern by

Activision has announced their lineup for the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con 2013.

Featured at booth #5344 on the show floor, they will be showing off some titles they already showed at E3 as well as a few surprises, including multiplayer hands-on with Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, hands-on with Transformers: Prime for Wii, exclusive screenings for 007 Legends and The Walking Dead, and a straight-up reveal of "what happens in The Amazing Spider-Man video game". I guess that's for comic movie-goers who couldn't care less about the video game.

As for panels, Activision will be announcing a new Marvel video game developed by High Moon Studios on Saturday, July 14. Looking into my crystal ball, I think it could be an Avengers tie-in of some kind.

There will also be autograph signings for Peter Cullen (voice of Optimus Prime), Gregg Berger (voice of Grimlock), Nolan North (voice of Bruticus, Cliffjumper, and Brawl), and Bruce Campbell (voice of the Extreme Reporter in The Amazing Spider-Man).

What do you think this new game could be?

Maybe they'll have another voice contest again like they did for the other two games.

I'm such a sucker for comic book licensed games. It's almost unreal. I'll take anything, though I'm not sure how much I love High Moon. Not that familiar I guess. At least it's not more Beenox.
