[Update] 343 Industries has just released a trailer for Halo: Nightfall, providing a first look at the upcoming digital feature. Check it out above and be sure to let us know what you think of this 74-second tease in the comments below.

[Original] Agent Locke, the leading man in the upcoming digital feature Halo: Nightfall, will be playable in the fifth installment of the Halo franchise, 343 Industries revealed today at Comic-Con.

In addition to this tidbit of exciting Halo 5: Guardians news, the studio revealed the key art for the Ridley Scott-produced digital feature. Give it a look below.

As we reported previouslyHalo: Nightfall will serve as an origin story for Agent Locke, providing gamers with all the backstory they'll need going into Halo 5: Guardians. That said, 343 Industries wouldn't confirm whether or not Locke will be an antagonist to Master Chief in the 2015 first-person shooter, saying that such a reveal will come at Comic-Con 2015.
