Alienware Crowned Official Major League Gaming Desktop For 2011 Season

Posted on Wednesday, March 23 @ 08:55:47 Eastern by

Everyone knows that if you want a super high-end gaming rig, you need to get an Alienware PC. And that's exactly what Major League Gaming was looking for when choosing a PC for their upcoming 2011 Pro Circuit season.

Starting on April 1st in Dallas, Texas, MLG pro-gamers will compete on Alienware's most powerful desktop PCs for a total of 6 live competitions throughout the 2011 season. At each venue, fans will be given the opportunity to try Alienware PCs first-hand at special "game stations".

Additionally, Alienware and MLG will be teaming up to broadcast exclusive tournaments on MLG.tv.

Major League Gaming CEO, Sundance DiGiovanni, was particularly proud of this morning's announcement, stating:

With our growing community of dedicated PC gamers, we recognized how important it was to provide the ultimate hardware for use in competitive play and worked with Alienware to bring in the best machines available,

We are excited to have Alienware as part of the 2011 Pro Circuit and look forward to showcasing hours of gameplay action on their machines at our events, online and beyond.

"Everyone knows that if you want a super high-end gaming rig, you need to get an Alienware PC."

    1. There's plenty of other companies that make high-end gaming computers that are arguably better than Alienware, who is owned by Dell if I’m not mistaken. Doghouse systems comes to mind.

    2. Then there are those people who choose to build their custom rigs from scratch. Like 90% of Quakecon visitors.

Alienware just costs way too much.

I love Alienware and I have a laptop from them and it's worth every penny. There's just such a "cool" factor about them and they are built very very well. They're desktops are really expensive and I wouldn't buy those (I plan to build my own) but their laptops are amazing.
