Alleged Half-Life 2: Episode 3 Concept Art Surfaces

Posted on Wednesday, June 27 @ 10:48:12 PST by Alex_Osborn

If you've been patiently waiting for Valve to reveal information on the next installment in theHalf-Lifeseries, I'm sorry, but you're going to have to wait a bit longer. Fortunately, we have the next best thing: a slew of alleged concept images (thanks to ValveTime) ofHalf-Life 2: Episode 3, which are believed to date back to 2008. While the developer hasn't confirmed the validity of the art, it looks legit, and hey, at this point, I thinkHalf-Lifefans will take whatever news they can get.

Note: If you haven't played through all of the Half-Life 2 content, proceed with caution as some of the art may containSPOILERS.

The images showcase new environments, including a snowy landscape (see below) and a slightly more trippy locale with floating platforms (see above). Oh yeah, and Alyx has gotten a slight makeover.

To see all of the images, you can check out ValveTime's Facebook page.
